I was born and raised in Ermioni Argolidos, Peloponnese. My father "May" is a farmer and small-scale olive grower in the area of Ermionida and owner of a traditional mill in the heart of Ermioni where he worked as a young man.

As a child I remember myself and my sister Marina visiting the olive groves at harvest period at weekends. Our mother was preparing picnic food and those days still sound like celebration.

My mother Anastasia is always passionate about gardening. She loves to spend her limited free time planting flowers in old traditional “kioupi” while decorating the backyard of our home.

Nowadays, the use of “kioupi” in decoration and gardening is very common in rural and island regions of Greece.
